Joan Lorraine Durband (063764)

                               6th April 1953 to 19th September 2009.

 

Her employment with Aramco commenced in January 1978 in Abqaiq as relief secretary moving to Dhahran as secretary in Corporate Planning Org. Joan worked as Secretary to the Managers of Petroleum Application Serv Dept. and Drilling and Workover Operations till her return to the UK in November 1990.

Joan had been admitted to Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in September for a heart valve replacement, the operation was a success but sadly complications set in and she died of a heart attack.


 John  Blagdon passed away on 26th. November 2009.

 

Sorry to inform you that John died 26th November, 5 days after after a massive stroke.  Cremation next Monday

 

 John is to be cremated at Preston Cemetery, Walton Avenue, North Shields, on Monday, 7th December, at 10:30 am..


 Colin Gordon Graham passed away

                                           on Thursday, 9th. April, 2009.

    

On Thursday, 9th. April, 2009, Colin Gordon Graham age 48 passed away after suffering a pulmonary embolism. He is survived by his wife Fiona and two Daughters, Alana and Natasha.

    

Colin first joined Saudi Aramco in1984 – 86 and after a brief period he returned in 1987 to complete another 13 years before finally leaving in 2000.

    

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 23rd. April at Larbert West Church, Main Street, Larbert, FK5 3JF at 2pm.

     

Family flowers only.  Donations addressed to The Asthma Association can be sent to Fiona Graham, Silverdale, Sunnyside Road, Brightons, Polmont, FK2 ORW.

  

Sincere condolences are extended to Fiona, Alana and Natasha.

 


 Milo Cumpston Passed Away

 

Milo J. Cumpston, 86, of Fayetteville died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at his home.

  

Milo worked for Saudi Aramco from 1947 - 1980 and was well known to the people of  Abqaiq. He was involved in many employee activities and the first ever Raft Race at Qurayyah Beach in 1980 was named the Milo Cumpston Raft Race in his honour.

   

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma Cumpston; three sons, James Cumpston and John Cumpston, both of Fayetteville, and Jeffrey T. Cumpston and his wife, Tricia, of Wesley; and five grandchildren.
