Letter from A.O.C. London.
Dear all,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and more importantly, the new Aramco magazine aimed exclusively at you. My name is Kimberly Johans and I work within Public Relations at AOC in the UK. Aramco will be producing a magazine catering to ex-employees of both Saudi Aramco and AOC, based in the UK and Europe. The magazine is at its initial stages and will consist of reader contributed stories and images, in a similar vein to that produced by Aramco Services Company in Houston (USA). We wish this magazine to become a great success and hope you can play a part in this.
What we are proposing is this: Please take a look at the suggested magazine sections laid out below to determine where your contribution(s) could lie. We’ve created a rough idea of the magazine’s content and would appreciate if you could please indicate which of these sections you (a) Already have content for that section, or (b) Would like to contribute to but need to create the content for. For your information, the magazine will be published and distributed in the first quarter of 2010, and we would require your submissions no later than the beginning of the last week of December 2009. Furthermore, please take the opportunity to make any suggestions for content you may have that hasn’t already been covered.
Once all article possibilities have been collated, we will contact each individual contributor for their submission(s). Article criteria and the submission process will be included in that email. Please note that submitted articles are not guaranteed to be published. As well, please ensure that any images sent through digitally are of the highest possible quality. Should you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone (+44 207 632 4975) or email (kimberly.johans@aramcouk.com) or contact Mr. Tom Henderson on 01509 265611 or email (Ukaramcons@ukaramcons.co.uk).
We look forward to working with you to create a publication that will not only inform but delight our readers. We also intend to look at every submission sent to us, so I encourage you to submit as much content as you wish! It’s an opportunity to showcase your skills, experience and knowledge and we can’t wait to see what can be produced!
